Double-Sided Dog Dematting & Undercoat Rake
A specialist rake with internal cutting edges
Choose a working width for targeted coat care with this double-sided grooming rake. Its curved stainless-steel teeth have polished inner cutting edges, and the ribbed handle provides a textured grip. This is a cutting grooming tool, not an ordinary blunt-tooth comb or soft finishing brush.
Sizes and colors
| Size | Overall length | Blade width | Tooth length | Tooth count |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Small | 17 cm | 6.5 cm | 2 cm | 11 |
| Large | 17 cm | 9 cm | 2 cm | 17 |
Both sizes are available in Blue and Pink: Blue / Small, Blue / Large, Pink / Small and Pink / Large. Dimensions are listed product specifications. The tooth count identifies the size; a separate count for each side is not specified.
Match the tool to the coat
The double-sided head offers finer and coarser tooth spacing. Internal cutting edges can cut coat hair, so do not assume this tool removes only loose undercoat. Ask a professional groomer whether it suits your dog's coat length, density and condition before use. It is not presented as suitable for every coat type or as a dedicated brush for smooth, short coats.
Use with care
Follow the included instructions and work gently in the direction of hair growth. Do not press against the skin, pull hard, saw through resistance or repeatedly work the same patch. Do not attempt to remove tight, skin-level mats with this tool at home; consult a professional groomer.
Avoid the eyes, ears, abdomen and other sensitive areas. Do not use on young pets or wounded, irritated or broken skin. A minimum age is not specified. Stop if your dog shows discomfort. Polished edges do not guarantee pain-free grooming or protection from cuts. Keep out of children's reach.
Cleaning and maintenance
Carefully remove collected hair without running fingers along the cutting edges. Rinse with clean water and use a soft brush to remove remaining hair. Dry thoroughly in a well-ventilated area. Do not soak or expose to direct sunlight. Inspect the teeth and blades regularly and stop use if an edge becomes bent, curled or chipped.
